Behavioral Health Hospital
Benchmark is providing Construction Manager Advisor (CMA) services to the Sheppard Pratt for their new 85-bed behavioral health in-patient facility in Elkridge, MD. Facility amenities include administrative offices, food service, laundry, loading, therapy mall, and healing gardens. The building was built to LEED Silver standards.
As the CMA on the project, Benchmark’s responsibilities include:
- Manage consultants directly contracted with the owner
- Interface with internal staff and department heads and serve as the liaison between workgroups and design team and report project status to the owner’s executive leadership team
- Provide contract administration services and develop, implement, and manage the project cost management plan including, but not limited to cash-flow management; pay application review, approval, and processing; budget control; change-order and allowance management
- Monitor daily activities and report on construction progress and scope of work performance
- Develop and coordinate logistics in and around the site in support of the project
