Various Urgent Cares
Under a design/build contract with WellSpan Health, Benchmark completed six new urgent care facilities that provide a more modern take on what has previously been on offer throughout Central PA. While the circumstances of each project have differed slightly, each facility includes a waiting room, reception desk, nurses’ station, equipment coordination for an x-ray machine, a lab, and exam rooms.
Individual project specifics include:
Annville: construction of a new building on a green field site.
Hanover: fit-out of retail shell space.
Lititz: select demolition and fit-out of an old pool supply building.
Shrewsbury: fit-out of retail shell space.
South York: demolition and fit out of an abandoned building including the replacement of a fire-damaged roof, construction of a new elevator tower, and the addition of steel beams and columns to support the x-ray equipment and walls in the upper floor.
West York: construction of a new building on a green field site. Benchmark completed the construction of the core and shell for the project developer and then fit it out for the urgent care facility.
